Most salespeople know what gets in the way of them staying at a “10”. For many it is interruptions, other people, their bosses, their peers, their clients, constant rejection, feeling that they are not adding value for their clients, internal questioning and self-talk, the impact of negative media (radio, TV etc), listening to colleagues and peers moaning about the state of the business, the economy, time pressures… etc…

I could go on.

One of the biggest challenges with being a sales professional is having to deal with these kinds of problems, having to deal with rejection, having to deal with people who say “No”, having to deal with the constant challenges to your mental well-being.

Most people cannot hack this. They cannot deal with the constant challenges of being a professional sales professional. They cannot get the winning sales mindset. Conversely, sales superstars can deal with this. They know exactly how to get back up again, how to get re-motivated and how to get themselves back to peak performance.
