Gavin, I love this example of persistence. What an impact Abe has had on this world as we know it. Should have have quit when he was discouraged, who knows what could and would have happened. Awesome blog. Very similar to the content on mine as well!
Incredible example of tenacity and perseverance, we should all take note. You could also add that in 1850 his son Edward died of tuberculosis.
