Well Debra , if I had been on the firing line you would most certainly have been out of the door!. Two days to layout a leaflet and a poster and not starting it untill the team came back with the photos was total madness!. Debra elected to team lead so she simply cannot blame anyone else for this. Researching on the internet how proffessional opposition were handling marketing seaside towns/family holidays would have been a logical use of time which would have given them the basic layouts, change copy/colours to suit your market, add different pictures...first basic rule, if you really havnt got a clue about the project in hand at least see what others in the same market are doing...after all they will have paid a marketing agency to do all the hard work!!

I love the apprentice, it is one of the highlights of the week for me.

As an Executive Search consultant I sometimes struggle with concept of interviewing for a job with no defined job description. Sir Alan clearly has some position in mind for our eventual winner, but this series I am struggling to work out what it is.

If it sales, then the only decent sales person got booted out last night. If it is marketing, project management or a leadership role of some description then the rest might as well pack the suitcases and book a taxi home.

The only person who came out of last night with any credit was Howard and that wasn't too difficult given the opposition.

I would have sacked Debra too - surely planning time is the job of a leader - and the half hour to spare at the end for the leaflet was abysmal!
