Kate is emerging as one to watch. I liked her appreciative approach in the ideas generation stage - going 'Oh, I LIKE that!' when someone came up with an idea she liked, and just ignoring rather than criticising the ideas she didn't like.

Incidentally, as Robert Cialdini and others have pointed out, good-looking people are more likely to get promoted than homely ones (<a href="http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/Careers/07/08/looks/" rel="nofollow">http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/Careers/07/08/looks/</a>) so she's definitely in with a chance, and she'll probably have an eye on a TV career on the back of this.

Great blog, Gavin!

There is be no justice is Noorul Choudhury does not go next - keeping quiet has worked for him so far (as it does in so many large organisations) but really - what's the use of this candidate? The only strong candidates this year are:

1. Kate Walsh (brilliant people skills)
2. Yasmina Siadatan (although she is difficult, at least she has focus)
3. Ben Clarke (despite being so negative, I really like him - he contributes all the time and works hard - pitty he can not handle criticism)

Keep those blogs coming Gavin!

Brenda

They certainly could cut to the chase and ask a few to exit stage right at this point! Be interesting to see if you are right about Yasmina and Kate... Regarding the job front, you're so right! I don't think people think through the rammifications of an ignominious exit and what they will mean for them back in the "real" world.

Completely agree with Gavin that Lorriane should have gone too. The final will be a tough one between Kate and Yasmina. Wasnt Kimberley just awful though.! She really should be completely embarrased by her performance or lack of....Where were the balls she promised us? The whole team walked all over her. I think she can say goodbye to a job with any respectable comapny in the UK.
